i'm not being a very "good" blogger, but most of the geeky stuff i learn is of no interest to the folks that read this and everything else they were probably there for. so i've got a game we can play. i love ranting about certain topics, but i hate picking a topic that is currently bugging me because i tend to babble or get upset.. bitching that's the word.
so here's the idea: give me a topic. i'll write something about it (hopefully i'll have a few choices to pick from) and then, hopefully, i'll provoke a discussion or even a small tiff. try not to be real vague. don't write "art" or "religion", say "modern art" or "the use of religious retoric in politics".
so sign in and be an aggitator. i do this knowing the chances of getting a good response are low, but what the heck.

well . . . you could comment on artificial insemination. I would love to hear your thoughts on that (ie: is it selfish no matter what? would God approve? what would jesus do? what would wade do? ha!) Seriously, I'd like to hear your opinion.

hmmm...well i'll try this posting thing for a second time, maybe this time it will let me...
what about how company's brutalize the english language. like oreo's and their double stuf oreos (stuff with only one f) for instance.
hmmm...sad that, THAT is the deepest thing i could come up with. granted i first of all thought maybe something like how, how as christians we could continue to pollute and destroy this world that god has given us. but i have a feeling i talk too much about the good old environment. can't help it though. i AM concerned at what type of world will be here to welcome the future generations.

as far as birth control goes it's been covered here and here and here. i don't mind going into it again, but i'm not gonna re-read all that to try and remember what position i took. if it's changed.. meh. i'll start with what caroline gave me and i'm sure i can work yours into that. amy i can see us getting to yours down the line, as those are also good subjects. to anyone who stumbles into this entry and/or has another idea, post it.
