my opinion, my problem

i would like to say that the views i've expressed (have i really, i'm not sure) about birth control are my own. they are derived from my personal religious and social beliefs, and thus really only effect me and whomever decides at some point to loose their mind completely and share a life with me.

i am quite impressed with the conversations below. they are very open, honest, and kind. thats good. my only wish is that people be educated and make decisions about their lives and health with as much (truthful) knowledge as possible. i also hope that we as Christians make decisions about family (and life for that matter) with the Bible as our guide.

lastly, i want to say that while i may not agree with peoples decisions towards the use of "the pill", i do have alot of respect for the reasoning. wanting a child to grow up in a finacially stable home is a wonderful goal, and to make physical or medical choices towards that end is quite respectable whether i agree with the method or not. (and who am i anyway, just some overthinking over emotional mental case........ Mmmmmmm metal taste)

next on the list: Has "science" failed our world?

Science is a double edged sword. We've just managed to use it to cut both ways. Our increased knowledge is only harmful or helpful according to our use of it.

Matt, I just want to say that I appreciate the dialogue on your blog. I like the fact that I don't totally agree with you because then I can challenge you and you're a great person to challenge -- you think well, debate well, take challenges well . . . I kinda miss the actual conversations in real-time though.

I honestly never even knew there were alternatives to the pill and didn't realize that guys have opinions regarding it too. It was good to discuss . . . thanks!

(By the way, good disclaimer!)

interesting topics of "the pill" to "science". :) I think I see the flow from one to the other...maybe reflecting on bioethics a bit... well, Science is my thing. It's what I am definitely interested in... but it's something that is very hard on me because of it's merciless need to be right and prove that through physical evidence. From my experience, science has tried to wipe out an Intelligent Designer whom I call ELOHIM, by using the dead confines of atheism to the worship of the Goddess Gaia in the Gaia Hypothesis to the term "macro evolution" to a geological time scale that is supposedly definite with no mistakes in it, to trying to erase the word "faith"...all the while, blaming Christianity for why we are such a selfish and hostile world all the time. Can't you just see Satan seething and loving it? The great LIAR has pulled the veil over many eyes and continues to do so in the education system especially...how tragic, how godless, how end times, how I know Jesus is coming soon! :) therefore I have hope!
