The Truth Is More Important Than The Facts

i can't read "on the road" before bed anymore. it's like a drug. i get so excited, i can't sleep properly. the characters are just wild, and most of them just go and go. one is completely insane and almost never stops (he wants to experience everything). my favorite character is one named Old Bull Lee. he lives out in a country house with two kids and his wife. he's always reading and building stuff and thinking up crazy stuff. the only thing is he's got a mad heroin addiction. but he just reminds me of me.

i still don't like it any better than "catcher in the rye", but it's getting close.
