Ever want something but think it was too expensive right now and that it would be hard to find anyway, consoling yourself to someday being able to get it? Then you find exactly what you wanted and it's available right now and at an extremely reasonable price? And then you start realizing that part of what you were waiting for was also a reason to justify buying it in the first place? Yeah, sucks don' it.

This is possibly the best Queens of the Stone Age song. Unfortunately, it is not the whole thing and is not easy to find a recording of.

not the best Queens song ever (that might come along later), but the cowbell makes up for it.

Check this out. As much of an anti-camping pansy as I am, I like the idea of having a house made out of a bus. Some of the ones I've seen are so creative and granola it's just awesome.

I want to post something outrageous. I want to say something theological that rattle peoples minds. I want to say something polical that cuts at the right and spits on the left. I want to make mindboggling pronouncments about society and culture. But I can't. I'm too tired. I'm too weak. My heart can't risk the fight. My soul can't stand the weight. My mind can't slow the chaos. I am defeated before I even leave the trench.

Last night I finished listening to the first Harry Potter book. What's that? Listening? I had told myself at some point I would read them, but not now, wait a bit till no one cares about them anymore. But when I found out that Stephen Fry (QI, Jeeves and Wooster, big gay guy in V for Vendetta) read the UK audio version my interest was peaked. I found a torrent of all of them and started. I took me nearly a week to listen to the Philosopher's Stone, but what a lovely way to "read" a book.
