hello. i've nothing to say really. having very few interesting thoughts. we've a new pastor for c'n c and worship (both) which shall be interesting. it'll probably require some serious reconsideration in both departments as far as how things are done. i think that's a good thing. not so much because there is anything wrong (though i suppose there is), but because change could be a good thing. prayers said, fingers crossed.

i should also say that the urban barn is not only a great place to roam around in after it's closed, but it appears to be a very reasonable, and therefore tempting, place to shop.

no, my girlfriend works at midtown stylists. my friends friend works at the urban barn.

oh, i forgot...the C&C pastor at eb. also does worship. They tell me it works quite well for them. So, i guess it's an encouragement.

Ok, first of all, you have a "new" girlfriend. Who was the old one? Secondly, you have a girlfriend?

About the pastor thing, I think that it could work out well. The only difficulty is if people start wondering why the pastor is not doing "his job". By this, I mean everything on his own with Una's help. It could work out well and it will mean more participation and leaderhsip development in the congregation. If everything goes as planned, it could work out great.

the only problem with that, is that i don't think they have anything "planned". seems like some good'ole russian roulette right now. everybody thinks its a good idea, nobody gives a straight answer as to what that idea is. people will wonder why he's not doing "his job" because his job in the sense of this new idea of the two postions as one has not really been defined. so the only example they have is that of the past worship and c'nc pastors, which Don (or anyone for that matter) is simply not capable of doing.
