crystal put this questionnaire up. apparently it's not actually something Proust made up but something he was asked to do at the age of 13 and again at age 20. it's also something i wouldn't normally bother doing and putting up, but the questions are actually fairly intelligent.
• What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
misery is a matter of perpective and to guess at which point i would be in life to reach that lowest depth is simply not possible (or helpful)
• Where would you like to live?
i believe i'd like to live in england, though i'm not entirely unhappy living here. i suppose if i'm going to live here i'd like my own house.
• What is your idea of earthly happiness?
earthly happiness? that's a what now? i'm not sure what my idea of happiness is because, being a cynical person i can always see the negative.
• To what faults do you feel most indulgent?
arrogance and anger (the bad kind of anger, not the righteous kind)
• Who are your favorite characters in history?
i don't really have any because all historical characters a fabrication of fact, myth and perspective.

in the spirit of the singular nature of the question i'll only choose Sarah Slean. If i can choose more than one i'd say her, Thom Yorke*, Johnny Greenwood*, Colin Greenwood*, Ed O'Brien*, and Phil Selway* (*radiohead), and Ry Cooder.

intelligence, humor, and... what's the opposite of asshole?

creativity, intelligence, a quick wit and a kind spirit.

discipline and ambition (the good kind that gets things done)

when i choose by use of drugs.. it says "like" to die
