The Truth Is More Important Than The Facts

does anyone else out there study movies? i don't mean go to film school. i mean watch movies over and with the commentaries and with the subtitles on to make sure you catch every word. it's sick isn't it. but i love it. i love seeing why things were done a certain way or what went wrong trying to get a shot. i love the art and craft of films. it's like watching someone paint or listening to a demo of a song and then the final version. art is like reproduction, only it's different.. it's a whole other level. i once heard someone say something like; "making a baby is easy, it's simple biology. art is amazing, taking a thought and turning it into something." interesting sentiment.
