L'Echine Du Diable
i just finished watching "The Devil's Backbone". it's a spanish horror/drama... with subtitles even. it's a movie i've wanted to see since i watched the special features on Blade II. this movie was directed by the same person, Guillermo Del Toro. he is a wonderful director, though he seems to do only dark films.
this is a good movie. the story is well thought out and the "horror" part isn't really scary... just a little disturbing, though in a compelling way. if you can stand the subtitles, i'd suggest watching it.

oooh...Spanish. :) is it something i would enjoy? man, i need to find spanish movies with subtitles.

most DVDs have a spanish option; or you can look for movies from the library that are in spanish (and if it's a DVD you can turn on the subtitles).
