this thing is actually more scientific than most of the ones out there. its basically a personality test, but it doesn't just say......... your a goof. it gives a pretty insightful answer.

Man, i'm just a sucker for stupid quizes! It wasn't one of the better ones i've done though-but whatever. This told me i'm a helpful perfectionist with anxiety and aggression, along with a sense of adventure. And a very fine line between being energetic and calmness, interesting.

i noticed u have the myers briggs test on there-that's a good one-the 108 mb-jung enneagram thing-i did it in bible school-and haven't changed like i thought i did on that one.

Personality is generally believed to be consistent throughout life although I'm not thoroughly convinced on that point. I believe that most personality tests can reveal where our strengths and our weaknesses are. It is probably best to focus on using our strengths and be aware of our weaknesses.
There are sometimes some helpful strategies out there for overcoming some weaknesses. Anxiety and aggression are common and both have some well founded techniques addressing those issues (though I can't say as though I would know the specifics on that).

So I did the test and consciously I am a "2W3" and unconsciously I am an "Omni".
Consciously, I am friendly and ambitious, focussed on my connection with others and inquisitive. I also have (and I quote) a "robust personality" - whatever that means.
Unconsciously, I am attracted to counter-culture (huh?), am indecisive (duh!), difficult to understand and don't trust anyone easily.
Close enough. Nutshell:
I am a happy, well-adjusted, informed but confused and untrusting enigma....but only when i'm sleeping.
Boy, am I ever glad I cleared that up.

Matt, you should be happy, cause yours is the first blog I've commented on. You guys have an intriguing little world here, and I must admit it does have its charm. The test seemed pretty accurate. I generally don't like personality tests, and I think there definitely has to be some caution in not taking them too seriously. It's okay to let yourself be analyzed for the purpose of maybe understanding yourself better, as long as you don't allow the findings to dictate who God's making you into.
