nothings going on

couple a good times this weekend. great time on sunday morning, though i started way to early (friggin 8:30 practice.) worked one night, one more to go. this one will be interesting because i'll be training someone. after tuesday at 2:00 i'll be up and at'em. hmmm, i'm really tired. life as of yet is boring, and this summer looks like it may require some creativity to be interesting.

Well, I do know that I'm looking forward to my CD that you burn for me. I was going to the game on the bigscreen at church, but Kevin is really sick and I need to be there with him tonight. He has a TV, I'll live.
As far as the summer goes, things always pick up just because the weather is liveable. Summer patio chats, Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan, the Jazz festival is coming up soon, there's the Fringe with people watching and Indie films, (what I like to call all the actual interesting people in the city gathering) Cruise Night, all kinds of stuff. I'm not including the Ex cause the smells and noise are extremely irritating, and the cost is way too high to justify going. And all the whistles from the carnie workers...but hey, there is the July 1st fireworks when all of Saskatoon herds like ornery cattle into a field to watch explosions. Way more fun when it's Wade trying not to catch on fire with backyard, convenience store-bought fireworks...

yep the jazz fest feat. bullfrog and jaga jazzist. also, vanilla ice on june 17th.

don't forget tail fest.

what in the world is "tail fest" (or do I even want to know?)

that would be a reference to folkfest. calling it tailfest is a reference to our use of it as a chance to objectify women. its sad really.

Which women - the ones in skirts chopping wood at the Oktoberfest pavilion? Or the stupid drunk ones that run from bus to bus....ah Folkfest bussin...you know, I was the object of that "objectifying" once. Unfortunately for them they spoke out loud...

i feel like a sex object 24/7. anyhow, i think the ones we would be referring to are everywhere from the scottish pavilion to the filipino to my personal favorite, the spanish pavillion. anyhow, it's only a sad thing because i have been founded out for my ways. but what goes around comes around and i hope to be nothing short of objectified by girls who aren't still in high school or worse yet, grade school. jail is not my scene.

oh kirk. thats the scary thing, seeing a girl and thinking "man, she looks very 'intelligent'". then looking at her friends and realizing she's probably about 16. aahhhhhhh!! scary, i think women under 19 should have to wear a sign.
