i'm make'n a list
i am preparing a quiz for all the music buffs out there. there will be prizes, and it will probably be a how many you get right and send in to me (no commenting, just email.) hopefully i'll get a good response because i really want to tear off some more personalized mix tapes. kirk may be disqualified due to his title as the professor of musical trivia.

i'm sitting here trying to remember which of their albums i had from the library. i didn't bootleg it so i probably wasn't terribly impressed. mind you it may have been one in a batch of twenty, then it may have gotten forgotten.

thanks for the compliment Matt. i will probably be out fo town for this endeavour. that's a dang shame. so in a way i already disqualified myself. if it's trivia and not just the old fashioned 'guess a song', you have already stepped it up. i wish i could contribute to your fiasco.

Why don't you just directly email the people you want to participate? Or alternatively, just open up a junk Hotmail account specifically for your purposes and that way the account you normally use won't get all clogged with spam. I hate junk mail too.

Are you as ridiculously selective as I am when making mixed tapes? It takes me forever to get the right flow of sound. It's always harder b/c I try to mix so many different genres on a single mix. i don't know how many hours in my life I've spent making tapes...too many perhaps...

i have a junk email account, and it gets less junk than my real one (never use your name, the mailer programs can guess those.) how about this, whomever wants in can say so right here. i'll put up a new post and people can say if they want in. that way if there's no response i guess you win by default.
i take a while doing mixes. my head is pretty musically oreinted, so i can feel where it needs to go next. what's fun for me is figuring out what will be interesting and enjoyable for the listener.

Well you nailed my musical tastes pretty well in the CD you made up for me - there's one song on there I wouldn't be able to listen to and not be scared unless all the lights are on...still, I like it.
