BC's Sesquicentennial

Photo from jonrawlinson
In 1858, the mainland colony of British Columbia was formed, they joined Canada 13 years later (in 1871) which was 4 years after Canada entered its own confederation (in 1867). It has been 150 years since their inception as a colony/province (that's sesquicentennial - look it up). Let the celebrations begin!
