PC vs Mac: One Gets It, The Other Doesn’t

Watch this:

And then watch some/one of these:

And then read this if you’re still not convinced that Microsoft doesn’t get it. John (Chairman) Gruber, writer of Daring Fireball.net, always manages to write what I think I’m thinking but I have no idea how to actually write it… or actually think it.

Purolator Delivery Today… Guess What Showed Up?

Guess what showed up today out of nowhere. A Purolator delivery with a 120GB hard drive. How bizarre. Glad to know I wasn’t crazy in pursuing this but it would’ve been nice if someone, somewhere at Xbox support had noted that they got my hard drive and sent it back on my [...]

Updated: 9/18/2008 I got it back! A 120GB hard drive showed up today via Purolator.

Kudos to Microsoft (Canada)

Microsoft Canada drops the price of the Xbox 360 to on par with US pricing.
Gotta give Microsoft props for doing something other manufacturers (*cough* Apple *cough*) aren’t willing to do.
The new console pricing will be dollar for dollar equal to the 360’s price in the United States, with the Xbox 360 Pro dropping from $399 [...]

Apple Related Notes

I can’t remember who I’ve talked to about this, so this is my blanket statement hoping to catch you all:

Microsoft announced that Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac will be delayed to Jan/2008.  So anyone waiting [...]
