Star Trek Tricorder Anyone?
I think it’s safe to say that the future has arrived. Our flying cars should be arriving sometime next year. And it’s no coincidence that the trailer for the new Star Trek movie was released at the same time.

Hey, What About This Mac?
Something that I’ve been working on with a couple friends is a website called About This Mac, found at www.aboutthismac.com. The three of us are Mac nerds who get the odd *cough* Mac related question from friends/family. We thought we might as well put the answers we’re giving out there on the internet [...]

Distractions
One of our biggest distractions right now is a iPhone/iPod touch game called Wurdle. I’ll let this review tell the story but basically it’s Boggle for your finger:
Sue and I have been passing the iPod back and forth as we try and best each other’s score. Right now Sue’s got the highest at [...]

I Think I Want
I can’t quite decide if I like this desk design from Heckler Design. It definitely appeals to the Mac geek in me the way it’s built with an iMac in mind, but I still have a lot of papers (some might say mess?) on my desk that I’d just end up putting somewhere else. [...]

Watch this:
And then watch some/one of these:

Picturesque
Picturesque (link to download here) is a simple little program that allows you to add some basic, yet powerful effects to your photos/images very easily. Initially I thought it was free, but it turns out there’s a $34.95 price tag - still not a bad deal for what it does. In addition to [...]

No sir, I’m just a very big Apple fan. This is my Graceland.
I think a trip to Edmonton is in order. Apparently there’s a new, official, Apple store opening up there this weekend.
Bonus points to whomever can tell me where the title of this post is borrowed from?

iPhone Finally Comes to Canada - For Real
Apple has finally announced iPhone availability for Canada - July 11th. It’ll be available from either Rogers or Fido, though neither site has pricing/plan information as of yet. Most likely it will be around $200 for the 8GB model and $300-$400 for the 16GB model. Worth waiting for if you’re in the [...]
