Guess what showed up today out of nowhere. A Purolator delivery with a 120GB hard drive. How bizarre. Glad to know I wasn’t crazy in pursuing this but it would’ve been nice if someone, somewhere at Xbox support had noted that they got my hard drive and sent it back on my file to save me some frustration. I was just about to phone them one last time to see if I could get anywhere and if not, break down and go buy one myself.
I wish I could remember the names of the support folks I talked to so I could phone them back and tell them “I told you so” but that would be petty and mean. Plus I’m pretty sure I got a different country each time I phoned in (India, France?, Mexico) so I’d probably end up talking to some poor Swede who has no idea what I was talking about.
