We’ll have to sort out a new system here since obviously we can’t just post about Damien anymore, but in the meantime, here’s a quick little video of Mason at 3.5 months:
For a bit of reference, here’s some pics of Damien at around the same age. The video linked there isn’t on the internets anymore (we have it on our computer somewhere). Here’s a video of Damien at 5 months, which is where Mason is actually right now. Good to see the spastic flailing of arms that Mason has started to do runs in the family (and babies at that age.)
It’s finally starting to warm up here and so Damien has pulled out the tricycle and is enjoying actually being able to peddle on his own this year (last fall he was still too short to properly push on the peddles):
I’m not sure where this came from exactly other than to say that while we were house-sitting at friends of ours Damien decided getting up at 5:30 – 6am was a better idea than sleeping until 7ish.
Damien was inspired by a video of his cousin Sam visiting an Australian animal park and so we decided to give him his own safari adventure that he could send back to his cousin.
Today’s Damien’s official 2nd birthday, though we’re celebrating it tomorrow with his friends and cousins.

You can tell he’s 2 by the fact that it took me over half an hour to write this post while he was getting into things, learning how to go on the potty and pulling the power cord off my laptop.
