We're all moved in to the new (to us) house - getting settled in. Unpacking boxes, rearranging furniture, and re-hanging up all the pictures/mirrors/shelves/etc that I love to hang up on the wall. I'll have pictures up as soon as Shaw comes to set up the interweb in our house.

A guy, who works in the department of a Human Resources consultancy company, says they made a selection process in which, among other things, they asked for a person with ample experience in using the internet (navigation, searches, formats...). They received 50 candidacies, from which 30 came from Hotmail-directions, all of them erased as they entered.

The reason: You can't pretend being an internet expert and use a Hotmail account at the same time.

Something I submitted to digg got dugg up to the front page. This is the digg submission for this link - a collection of tips for the Apple remote. I think this means my 15 minutes of internet fame are used up.

Just fooling around with photo blogging - took a picture on my phone, uploaded it to flickr which automagically sends it to my blog. I am awesome.

The device in the picture is our store's DVD/CD printer/burner - snaps off 50 DVDs or CDs at a time.

Always sure to be an entertaining and interesting interview, Tony Campolo was on The Hour last night. It should also show up on The Hour's iTunes podcast here at some point. This was the first I've heard of the term/organization Tony's started, 'red letter Christian.'

300 is a movie about guys who look cool doing things that are awesome, and as such it's hard not to like it. It leverages swank technology in the service of its cinematic mission. Also, there is a portion of the film given over to a creature, equal parts goat and man, who plays a flute inside of a golden tent. So it's the sort of movie that really has something for everyone.
