Ballmer Has Multi-Dimensional Kids

Steve Ballmer Microsoft CEO

  • Interviewer: Do you have an iPod?
  • Steve Ballmer (CEO of Microsoft): No, I do not. Nor do my children. My children--in many dimensions they're as poorly behaved as many other children, but at least on this dimension I've got my kids brainwashed: You don't use Google, and you don't use an iPod.

Apparently Steve's got multi-dimensional kids. Not only are they 3D! they also have a fourth MP3/iPod dimension and a fifth web search dimension. It's gotta suck to be the kids of a Microsoft CEO. All the other kids have their iPods, gmail addresses, and myspace profiles but you're stuck using a crappy mp3 player, hotmail and whatever crappy social sites software Microsoft has.

Take a Break Today..

It's a Monday, why not take a break and enjoy this great flash game. As good a side-scrolling platformer as Sonic/Mario were back in the day I'd say.

Actual Phone Conversation Yesterday

Phone

  • Me: Hi, is Rob there?
  • Clueless Joe: No, this is Joe.
  • Me: (I realize I have the wrong number since there should only be a Rob where I'm calling) Oh, ok. I think I have the wrong number. Sorry! (I hang up)

At this point I go to check Rob's number, but can't get too far as I have someone calling me.

  • Me: Hello?
  • Clueless Joe: Hi, you called my number?
  • Me: (confused) Yeah, I did. I was looking for Rob.
  • Clueless Joe: Oh, who's calling?
  • Me: (??)Uhm, it's Chris.
  • Clueless Joe:Chris? Chris who?
  • Me: (????)Chris Enns.
  • Clueless Joe:And who were you looking for?
  • Me: Rob.
  • Clueless Joe:Oh, I think you've got the wrong number. There's no Rob here.
  • Me: Right. That's what I mentioned when I called you. But thanks.

Utterly awesome.

Real Life Simpsons

A 'real life' version of The Simpsons intro. It looks to be from England as Marge is on the "wrong" side of the car, but other than that it looks pretty spot on.
